Christmas Chaos

To our dear friends and family,

Hello and happy holidays from Alec, writing on behalf of the (ever-growing) Schilling family. It has been my delight and honor to write the family Christmas letter/newsletter/website over the last decade, and I thought this year I would open with a brief note.

This time of year is one for reflection and gratitude. In the wake of a turbulent few weeks/months/years (it would be nice to live in “precedented” times, for once), I wanted to take a moment to say how grateful we are for you, our community. The recipients of this newsletter range from family connections who span generations and continents, to new parent friends from the kids’ daycare. It’s a really special thing to have your friendship and wisdom. So even if we don’t see one another as often as we’d like, you are all in our hearts and we are thankful for you.

With four grandkids, five dogs, and travels around the world, 2024 has been a particularly busy year for the extended Schilling family—we’ve done our best to capture the joyful chaos in this year’s update.

Wishing you all a very happy holidays and a bright new year. We hope to see you soon.

Always,
Alec and The Schilling Family
